These cover art concepts were designed for the book 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' by J.K. Rowling (1997). The Design Brief called for a completely hand rendered creation that alluded to a specific theme, event, or storyline within the novel, in a bid to entice readers into pursuing the adventure.
